Cnc Machining Estimator

Overview

We are currently seeking a CNC Machining Estimator to join our team at our facility located in Chamblee, GA, 30341. The ideal candidate will have experience estimating complex CNC machining projects which include finishing, hardware installation, tooling, and complex QC requirements, etc.

Responsibilities

• Estimate costs for CNC machining projects
• Review and interpret drawings to determine machining, finishing, hardare, tooling and inspection requirements
• Utilize CAD software to create and analyze machining designs
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards
• Collaborate with production team to plan and schedule machine setups

Qualifications

• Hands on CNC machining experience
• Aerospace inductry experience
• Prior experience working withing an AS9100 or ISO9001 quality system
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Proficient in CAD software
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Experience with estimating for prototypes, low volume runs and high volume repeating production runs

You should be proficient in:

• AS9100 Experience
• Blueprint Reading
• CAD Software
• GD&T
• Machine Setups for Production Runs

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)
• CNC Swiss Lathe
• CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC)

Salary info:

$25 - $40 / hr
