Summary: Provides administrative support to RN and Director. Will provide direct care to residents following the individual service plan. Serves as a mentor and resource person to other care staff. Will be on on-call rotation schedule and assists in providing staffing schedule and coverage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
HSL responsibilities:
Nursing Duties:
Daily walk through house (internal and external)
Orientation of new employees
Performance Reviews (30-day, 90 day and yearly)
Recognition of good performance
Ongoing training of employeesCares –supervise that proper cares are being performed
Monitor and destroy non- scheduled (controlled) medications/prepare scheduled meds and destroy with RN or Director
Check filing bin and file as appropriate
Assessments: Annual, COC, acute injury/illness Report findings to RN, chart as appropriate
Incident without injury reports
Weekly review of med cart
1. Bulk items dated
2. Cleanliness
3. Stock
4. Order bulk items in low supply
Daily vital sign review for irregularities in residents and staff during pandemic
Check in cycle fill medications, monthly
Assist with potential resident assessments, and ongoing assessment for 2 weeks after admit, document daily
Administrative Duties:
Review and submit bills to Accountant and Owner
Caregiver Scheduling
Contact and schedule interviews for potential candidates
Conduct Interviews of Potential candidates
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
