Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and assisting with daily activities. Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients
- Light Housekeeping, cooking, and other domestic labor
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in performing client assessments and documenting observations accurately
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Heavy lifting
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Nursing Assistant training program preferred
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Maine
- CPR certification is highly desirable

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
