- Monitor, maintain and deploy infrastructure in multiple cloud providers including AWS and Azure
- Write technical documentation for processes and develop solutions needed to improve infrastructure scalability and reliability
- Develop, test, deploy and maintain automation pipelines and systems including CI/CD
- Deploy code and manage system files related to software deployments
- Proactively identify and reduce issues through design, testing and implementation of software solutions
- MS SQL and MySQL database administration, performance tuning, and data manipulation
- Microsoft Windows and IIS/Azure App Service administration, performance tuning, and patching as needed
- Linux administration including Lucee, Apache, performance tuning, and patching as needed
- Ensure maximum uptime of publicly hosted web sites and associated components
- Analyze performance and system health of cloud, hosted, and internal systems
- Collaborate with other business units on special projects requiring automation, cloud, or other IT systems
- Assist network and security teams to ensure complete CIA of hosted environments
- Perform system maintenance as needed including after hours or weekend and handle on-call rotation duties
- At least 5 years' experience in a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE or systems administrator role
- Experience deploying and maintaining full stack cloud applications including databases, web/app servers, and load balancers
- Microsoft Windows, IIS, and MS SQL Expertise and or Linux, Apache, and MySQL expertise
- Expertise in Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, Switches, Load Balancers (BIG IP F5, AWS, Azure)
- Proficient in Powershell, Python, Bash or other scripting languages
- Highly experienced with automation pipelines including Azure DevOps or other CI/CD platforms
- Experience with Powershell DSC, Ansible, Chef or other configuration management tools
- Full stack troubleshooting skills across network, application, and hardware
- Understanding of OS level concepts such as processes, memory allocation and network stack - Good knowledge of how these concepts affect software
- Comfortable testing configuration changes such as OS updates, drivers, libraries and building automated systems to maintain server configurations and health
- Flexibility to occasionally travel to Brandt offices and/or client sites with advance notice.
- Must submit and pass criminal background check pursuant to Brandt's contractional requirements with government agencies
- An annual salary range of $95,500 - $110,000 determined by factors including but not limited to geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience as a software engineer
