Azure IoT Architect
Job Summary: The Azure IoT Architect is responsible for designing and implementing IoT solutions using Microsoft Azure's cloud services. This role involves understanding business requirements, designing architecture, selecting Azure services, and ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. The Architect works on technically sound projects, guides technical delivery, resolves architecture issues, and architects frameworks and tools for programs. They also contribute to business development, delivery efficiency, and audit reviews, among other performance measures.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage expertise in a technology area to design system architecture.
- Deliver technically sound projects based on user stories.
- Guide and review technical delivery by internal teams.
- Resolve architecture issues and own architecture of application solutions.
- Architect frameworks and tools relevant for the program.
Skills:
- Strong hands-on expertise in .Net, .Net Core.
- Experience in architecting complex solutions for Enterprise IoT systems.
- Knowledge of modern architecture techniques.
- Understanding of Microsoft Cloud Platform features and capabilities.
- Preferred certification: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Experience and Education:
- 8+ years of strong hands-on expertise in .Net, .Net Core.
- 5+ years of experience in architecting complex solutions for Enterprise IoT systems.
- Preferred certification: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Location and Schedule:
- Location: Lisle, Illinois.
- Schedule: Onsite, Monday to Friday (normal business hours).
Contract and Compensation:
- Contract: 9 months (possible extension - as needed)
- Compensation: $52-60/hour, optional PTO and paid holidays, optional benefits plans.

- Background check, Employment verification, and drug screen.
