SUMMARY
Under general direction of the Information Technology Manager I (ITM I), the IT Specialist II (ITS II) will serve as Cloud Administrator over ABC's Microsoft 365 (M365), Azure and Amazon Web Service (AWS) environments. The Cloud Administrator acts as primary M 365 and Azure technical support resource and serves as secondary support resource for ABC's AWS Cloud environments. The incumbent manages and maintains ABC's M365 and Azure infrastructure, applications and related technologies including Enterprise Mobility and Security (EM+S) suite. Provides technical expertise for all Microsoft cloud services (including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint), maintains hybrid connections, ensures performance and availability meet ABC's service level agreements (SLA) and objectives. The incumbent will work with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure team members and the CISO to understand current configurations, policies, and technical components, evaluate strategic approach for deploying services and provide input into M365 and Azure service roadmap development. The Microsoft Administrator performs day-to-day activities in ABC's M365 environment including operations of a hybrid environment, co-management, directory-sync, and reviewing various alerts and messages concerning changes in the platform and how they will impact operations. The incumbent is expected to be courteous and provide timely responses to internal/external customers, follow through on commitments, and to solicit and consider other technical team's input when completing work assignments.
This position requires the incumbent maintain consistent and regular attendance; communicate effectively and professionally (both orally and in writing); develop and maintain knowledge and skills, methodologies, materials, tools and equipment; complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner; and adhere to all departmental policies and procedures.
Position requires less than 5% travel to district offices.

Working Conditions
This position will have an opportunity to have a hybrid telework schedule after the initial training and onboarding process.
If the employee is working at an alternate work location during telework, they are required to maintain a safe working condition at the approved site, abide by the Departments Telework Policy and Ergonomic Policy, and agree to maintain a distraction-free remote work environment. Further, employees are required to be available through various forms of communication during work hours.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline in support of DevOps teams
  • Knowledge of MS Teams VoIP
  • Knowledge of complex procedures to ensure production or delivery of complex products and services, including complex tools and mechanisms for hosting services
  • Knowledge of methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovery, adjusting, modifying, and improving complex IT systems

Describe your experience in working with, and communicating with, technical and non-technical staff. Describe the difficulties you encountered and how you resolved those issues.
3. Please describe your experience with supporting an Infrastructure that has both On Premises and Cloud based environment (Hybrid).
4. Describe your experience in supporting mission critical applications.
5. How have you ensured compliance with relevant security standards and best practices in cloud environments in your previous roles?
