Job description

Job Purpose:
Responsible for operational oversight, provision of exceptional clinical care, and the financial profit and loss management of AllHealth Network’s 24/7 psychiatric Acute Treatment Unit (ATU), Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), Walk-in Center, and Crisis Intervention Team/Co-Responder program.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain systems that ensure client treatment and safety needs are met in an efficient manner by operating in compliance with all federal, state and local requirements.
• Provide change leadership and leader development to Acute Care Services team members in order to improve and maintain systems that ensure staff safety, competence, compliance, and morale.
• Maintain an operating culture which is standardized across programs, accountable and collaborative to achieve positive client outcomes, growth and profitability goals by ensuring that teams provide excellent, quality, safe clinical care
• Use data-informed decision making with each operating unit; track performance trends, and ensure that financial/operational targets are achieved
• Monitor and take action on Acute Care metrics and quality assurance processes
• Lead initiatives utilizing accepted hospital and crisis performance indicators to drive daily programming and direct clinical care, including step-up and step-down services across the Network
• Develop and oversee the implementation of standardized operational procedures and action plans to maximize organizational performance.
• Build cohesion and promote a positive work environment among staff members; cultivate a work culture that embodies the values of AllHealth Network emphasizing psychological safety and health equity principles.
• Establish operating processes that embrace team-based continuous improvement methodologies (i.e., Lean Healthcare) to achieve sustainable business results
• Maintain leadership presence, guidance, and direction on day-to-day operations at the Acute Care Campus
• Oversee clinical leaders to ensure a competency-based framework is in place for providing direct services that are client-centered, trauma-informed and recovery-based
• Interface across departments and with key leaders within AllHealth Network including Quality Improvement and Compliance, IT, Clinical Systems Integration and our Operations Manager to meet the needs of the unit
• Build, strengthen and maintain relationships with community partners, law enforcement, payers, vendors, and hospitals for access to care, quality of care, contracting, and utilization management needs to support Acute Care Service operations
• Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures
• Complete all required trainings as listed in Relias Learning (both online training and face-to-face training) within required timelines
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee.


Key Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Education
• Master’s degree with an educational focus that includes healthcare administration (i.e., MHA, MBA, MPA, MHA) or MSW, MA degree in behavioral healthcare
• Nursing or other clinical license preferred
Experience
• 5+ years of healthcare experience, with 2+ years of operational responsibility for an inpatient or residential unit required
Skills
• Demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve revenue, cost, and profitability improvement goals
• High-level competency working with data in Excel or business intelligence software

 

$165,000 - $185,000 annually  

The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network compensation range for this position. Actual compensation may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values.  The wages provided here are just one component of AllHealth Networks’ total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives as well as a generous benefits package as outlined below.
