The Program for Language Equity, under the leadership of Director Dr. Alisa Khan, MD, MPH, is looking for a Research Assistant to help with the activities of the program, under the supervision of Dr. Khan and a program manager. The vision of the program is to transform research and healthcare delivery—through a combination of research, education, and advocacy—to include and prioritize individuals who communicate in languages other than English. - Supporting a multilingual translation and cultural adaptation collaborative to help researchers and clinicians in effective translation practices.
- Creating a library of translated research and clinical materials.
- Assisting with publishing scholarship promoting Language Equity.
- Creating training materials for clinicians and researchers on Language Equity best practices.
- Maintaining program website and social media.
- A bachelor's degree in STEM or Psychology with a minimum of 2 years of research experience.
- A minimum of one year of work experience.
- Strong attention to detail, and strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A passion for Language Equity.
- Bilingual skills are preferred.
