Brazelton Touchpoints Center seeks a qualified candidate for a Clinical Research Assistant II. This hybrid position is based in Boston, MA; regular in-office presence required. If selected, you will be part of our mission to support families & children and projects across disciplines including policy development & practice, social services, early care, nation building in Tribal & Indigenous communities, education, home visiting, mental health, and pediatric health care. The position will contribute to all aspects of research processes & perform cross-project communication and administrative coordination for the Research unit. BTC staff will provide mentorship to develop skills in administrative & communication support services, qualitative/quantitative research methods, data collection, analytic reasoning, verbal/written communication, data visualization, project management & grants development.
Responsibilities
- Assist w/operations of research activities; data collection, data entry, dataset development, management and analyses of quantitative/qualitative data, grant development, contracts & record-keeping
- Collaborate w/internal and external partners to support research initiatives, streamline processes & facilitate communication
- Provide administrative support for research initiatives & Research unit; support coordination of presentations, meetings, travel, equipment & software
- Support communication coordination & development & implementation of project management tools; calendar maintenance, filing, HIPAA secure data holding systems, grant writing, expenses & invoices
- Support interpretation & reporting of findings
- Conduct literature reviews; maintain library of references & materials
Requirements
- Bachelor’s & 1-2 years administrative or research experience.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, priorities & deadlines & manage tasks under strict timelines
- Ability to support multiple functional groups, independently & in a team
- Strong planning & time management skills; self-starter
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills
- Strong verbal/written communication skills across multiple audiences

- Computer software skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, EXCEL & internet applications
- Proven proficiency w/calendar maintenance, event & travel planning, document formatting, copy editing & technical assistance
- Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
- Introductory statistical ability w/knowledge of SPSS, R, STATA a plus
- Familiarity w/publishing software, data visualization & multimedia tools a plus
- Experience w/Mendeley, EndNote, RefWorks a plus
