Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Receptionist to join our team at Palisades Counseling. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong understanding of psychiatric terminology
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Check-in patients and verify their personal and insurance information
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with healthcare providers
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in multiple EMR systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle patient information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
