JOB DETAILS
POSITION TITLE: Clincial Manager - Adult Services
DEPARTMENT: Clinical Services
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
PAY GRADE: $65,092- $76,158
REPORTS TO: VP clinical Support Service Division
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Clinical Manager is responsible for program treatment including ensuring contractual compliance and meeting program metrics in clinic. The Clinical Manager provides clinical services including specialized group and/or one on one counseling services to program participants. The position provides guidance and supervision to Clinicians and program staff for Children /youth and their Families.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Responsible and accountable for the clinical staff treatment and support for Child /Youth and Family clinic.
- Develop, implement and monitor policies, procedures, goals and objectives.
- Evaluate training and performance needs of staff, recruit and select staff, conduct attendance reviews, performance evaluations and provide managerial representation during HR investigations and disciplinary/grievance hearings.
- Review referrals to ensure appropriateness of admission.
- Facilitate meetings with contracted providers to address issues and improve program functioning and client outcomes.
- Participate in case conferences and other meetings aimed at addressing placement/disposition challenges and identifying placement and/or treatment options.
- Assist in developing strategies for improving, reviewing, and monitoring client care
- Responsible for the daily operations of programs in accordance with compliance, accrediting & regulatory organizations as it relates to clinical components.
- Provides leadership, management, direction, and role modeling behavior based on high professional standards.
- Oversees assigned clinical staff, clinical individual & group sessions, and all levels of care.
- Provides treatment to patients holds a caseload .
- Ensures that all client files documentation is complete and thorough and in compliance with DPH, Joint Commission and contract standards.
- Ensures compliance in all contracts and outcomes are met or exceeded. Oversees and monitors clinic quality assurance systems. Responsible for accreditation activities; DPH and Joint Commission as it relates to clinical protocols for Child /youth and families.
- Ensures financial benchmarks are achieved as outline in the yearly budget.
- Track’s data and clinician productivity and provides support to staff to ensure compliance with identified benchmarks.
- Performs duties of Clinicians as required.
- Manages staff schedule to ensure clinical services meet client needs.
- Communicates with management staff regarding relevant program issues. Acts as liaison between VP and reporting departments. Assures positive communication between reporting departments and other CRT departments.
- Oversees, provides and/or assures representation of CRT to and among outside agencies, community organizations, groups and individuals in order to advance a positive perception of CRT and its programs to the community. Assures appropriate collaboration between reporting departments and external agencies.
- Enhance and develops best practice treatment programs in order to assure continuous quality improvement for Child /Youth services.
- May serve as agency liaison with external regulatory, Clinical Support planning and advisory groups and other regulatory and service agencies.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Master's degree in Social Work is Required
Minimum Years of Experience Minimum of 5 years related clinical experience with Children/ Youth and their families, mental health or co morbidities, must have 3 years’ experience in supervisory capacity.
Active Certification in good standing in: Licensed Clinician Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is Required
Demonstrate skills in: Demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with other service providers. Ability to communicate effectively, compile written reports and maintain/review case files. Ability to supervise and motivate clinical staff to perform their duties efficiently. Time management skills. Must be computer literate. Experience working in a JC accredited, fee for service environment required. Proven experience in managerial position
Knowledge of: Experience in clinical supervision and program management, Excellent knowledge of standards and regulations for the clinical field as it relates to children and youth DCF, Joint commission, DPH, Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g. Electronic health records), knowledge of contractual compliance, clinical policy and procedures, managing clinical staff, and clinical individual & group sessions specific to Children youth and families. Knowledge of human behavior and performance, and Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts
