Job Description: My College Planning Team is seeking a bilingual Client Service Manager who speaks both Spanish and English fluently, has experience in finance or accounting, and an interest in learning the very complex Financial Aid system that determines what middle-income families pay for college. Though a background in higher education or in Financial Aid is a plus, we are willing to train an ambitious, dedicated, people-oriented individual, with experience in accounting or finance, who shares our mission to empower, engage and support all families and students with financial and academic strategies to reduce cost and gain admission at a best-fit college. We do this through a wide variety of income, asset, tax, and appeals strategies.
This is an independent contractor role.

Responsibilities:
- Managing the client experience.
- Understanding client needs.
- Putting together financial scenarios for clients based on their personal situation.
- Working with our CFPs and our student services counselors to ensure all their needs are met.
- Helping with financial document submissions (FAFSA and CSS Profile).
- Guiding clients through the appeals process.
- Presenting online webinars and in-person workshops
The person we hire will have some flexibility to dictate the days and hours they wish to work, typically during the late afternoon or early evening hours with a minimum of hours available to be discussed prior to hire. You will be required to present online webinars and in-person workshops, which will be in the evenings and on weekends. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to life-long learning is important. Strong excel spreadsheet skills required.
