VCA Airport Irvine Animal Hospitalis a multi-doctor practice located in beautiful Costa Mesa, California. Our hospital is well-established in the Costa Mesa, Irvine and Newport Beach communities. Our wonderful clients are very dedicated to their pets, and many of them have been a part of our practice for many years, helping to give our clinic a close-knit, family feel.

About You!

We are seeking a Part-Time Client Service Representative to join our team.

We’re looking for a personable, highly professional individual who can multi-task in a high pressure, fast-paced environment while not losing sight of details. This individual should be able to balance being efficient while being compassionate and use sound judgement and effective communication in emergency situations.

Our ideal candidate has the desire to provide extraordinary client-focused service in taking care of customers, veterinarians, technicians and hospital staff. If this describes you, join us in delivering the VCA experience to our clients and their pets.

Must be flexible to work afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays. This position currently offers 20-25 hours per week, but there is a potential to be full-time in the future if desired.

What We'd Like From You!

• Customer service functions, include: greeting clients, answering telephones, scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team.
• Exceptional customer service skills, including good communication and empathy
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

• Flexible schedule preferred

• Evenings
• Saturdays

COMPENSATION: $17-$19 PER HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE
