GOMO Travel is a Florida-based, high-touch, service-motivated concierge assisted travel company with a vision to normalize assisted travel across the globe. GOMO is a fast-paced growing company and seeking a self-motivated professional to join our team as a Client Experience Specialist. Essential Functions
- Initiate and respond to client communications (written, verbal, electronic) on behalf of GOMO
- Greet and interact with clients and their family members warmly, compassionately and professionally
- Assist with travel planning, preparing pricing estimates, client quotations, itineraries, and arranging and booking trips for travelers and companions
- Work with GOMO’s vendors, agents, and suppliers to address issues with transportation, hotel, or other third-party services (including airline agents, car services, cruise agents, etc.)
- Management of GOMO’s digital platforms including websites, marketing campaigns, social media presence and management of the CRM Platform (Zoho)
- Collaborate with CEO to execute annual marketing plans and marketing events
- Improve business processes and forms, create more automated steps to enhance business efficiency and the overall customer experience
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments as requested by GOMO staff and/or contractors
- Organize and manage traveler and GOMO staff and/or contractor files and records on GOMO business systems
- Organize and support GOMO staff meetings and support management staff as needed
- Perform other office and business management duties as needed
Qualifications
- College degree from an accredited institution
- One or more years related experience working in a formal business setting, preferably in travel, medical/health or hospitality industry
- Marketing experience a plus
- Highly personable, with a warm, enthusiastic, friendly, and out-going personality
- Superior interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to easily and effectively engage clients
- Exemplary communication skills (verbal, expressional, written), an active listener with the ability to build rapport and clearly articulate and express ideas
- High degree of responsiveness, awareness, sound judgment, sense of responsibility and dependability in all situations
- Resourceful team player whose integrity will build strong and trusting relationships with travelers and GOMO staff
- Occasionally attend marketing and industry events
Demonstrable Requirements
- Strong competency with Microsoft Business products (Word, Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint, Teams, etc.), CRM (Zoho) products, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and proficiency with other popular software applications, including Google applications and popular social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter(X), etc.)
- Must be available to work weekdays, weeknights, holidays and weekends, as necessary
- Ability to work remotely and independently
- Primary language is English but the ability to speak another foreign language is a plus
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, driving record check and pre-employment background check (including educational, professional and referential)
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time working at a computer
- Must be able to evaluate information and solve problems.
General
- Hybrid work arrangement (primary WFH but work from office required during initial training period and otherwise based on business needs)
- Salary: $48,000 - $55,000, based on skills and experience
- Benefits: Health, Dental & Vision (optional); Standard PTO (sick/vacation time, holidays, personal days, etc.)
- Occasional travel required (<10%)
