Overview

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for managing subscription billing systems and ensuring seamless customer experiences? We are seeking a Subscription Billing Coordinator to join our team in a temp-to-perm capacity and play a pivotal role in post-sale activities, specifically focusing on setting up clients in our billing system, managing subscriptions, and ensuring timely invoice collections.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Post-sale Setup: Assist in setting up new clients in our billing system, ensuring accurate input of client information and subscription details.
  • Subscription Management: Add, modify, and cancel subscriptions as per client requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Invoicing: Generate and send out invoices promptly, monitoring payment statuses, and following up on overdue payments.
  • Automated Billing: Facilitate the setup of automated billing processes, including obtaining credit card or ACH information for future payments.
  • Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding billing inquiries, clarifications, and issue resolution, maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and implementation teams to ensure alignment in client setup processes, providing necessary support and insights from a subscription invoicing revenue perspective.

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviors:

  • Prior experience in subscription billing management, preferably with knowledge of Stripe billing systems.
  • Proficiency in using billing and invoicing software, with a strong understanding of automated billing processes. Familiarity with Stripe and HubSpot is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and internal teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accurate and timely execution of tasks.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve billing-related issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, supporting cross-functional initiatives and contributing to overall organizational goals. 

Compensation

  • $35.00-40.00 per hour
