1. Computer MPI Inquiries in EPIC for Verification of MR# and Patient demographics.
2. Merges when appropriate reviewed using the following systems EPIC and QuadraMed.
3. Use of EPIC Health Record Software.
4. Name changes when requested, after careful review of documentation provided by requestor.
5. Log in receipt of all discharges in EPIC and facilities the receiving new discharges.
6. Scanning process using On-Base scanning system.
7. Process walk-in/calls or audit projects requesting medical records.
8. Maintaining filing sections (ie: purging medical records, refilling chars in appropriate sections and assuring the main filling section are organized. Updating electronic charts using On-Base and EPIC).
9. Perform other assignments as may be deemed necessary and appropriate
10. Job requires lifting, pulling and collecting Medical records, bending, standing, walking and sitting to process charts.

1. A high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and
2. Six (6) months of full-time satisfactory clerical experience and/or experience interacting with the public, such as processing sales; taking, processing, and delivering orders; obtaining and dispensing information; listening to and resolving customers concerns, problems, and complaints; and/or performing related customer service activities.
