EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Responsibilities of a Clerical Assistant 3 include independently determining whether a case needs to be opened, creating appropriate letters when applicable, and corresponding with attorneys, recipients, insurance companies, and others to obtain additional information as needed. Also, you use independent analysis when answering and returning dedicated hotline calls and screen requests for appropriateness, completeness, and urgency. In addition, you use common office equipment and computer programs to complete your daily tasks. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work weekWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to three (3) days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
