Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for cases of varying complexity from beginning to end with supervision and mentoring.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memorandums, discovery, etc.
• Interact with and represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with colleagues, including paralegals and support staff in conjunction with managing cases and clients.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• This position is a mentored path toward the development of your own independent practice within the firm.

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 1-4 years of experience practicing Civil Litigation.
• Florida Bar License in Good Standing.

Compensation

• $70K-100K+ based on experience and billable hours.
• 1750 billable hours per year minimum expectation.
• Significant bonus qualification above 1750 billable hours.
• Compensation plan is transparent and directly related to productivity.
