Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation cases and providing legal advice and guidance throughout the litigation process.
Duties:

• Litigate civil cases in state and federal courts
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support case arguments
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes
• Represent clients during depositions, hearings, and trials
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and legal options
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact ongoing cases

Skills:

• Strong litigation skills with experience handling civil cases from inception to resolution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in legal research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies
• Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located
