Salary Range: 17.00 - 21.00 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in Design Development:
  • Work closely with the Civil Design team to contribute to the development and enhancement of civil engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers on the creation of detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications.
• CAD Modeling and Drafting:
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software (AutoCAD and/or Microstation) to create accurate and detailed models and drawings.
  • Assist with ensuring designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
• Data Analysis:
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing data relevant to civil projects.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers.
  • Communicate effectively to convey ideas, progress, and challenges.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure designs are error-free and meet client standards.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Proficiency with electronic communication including e-mail and text, as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
• Possess basic oral and written communication skills
• Interact with other staff
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.

Required Education and Experience:

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
• No experience required.
