What you'll be doing:
- You will drive Physical Design, power, and Timing of high-frequency and low-power designs.
- Help in driving frontend and backend implementation in some areas from RTL to gds2.
- Run Physical Design experiments and helped with flows and methodologies.
What we need to see:
- Pursuing a MS or Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Knowledge and experience in Static Timing Analysis (STA)
- Knowledge of power analysis and power reduction will be useful
- Some experience in logic synthesis and equivalence checking
- Physical optimization e.g. placement, routing, clock tree, etc.
- Knowledge of crosstalk, noise glitch, process variations will be a plus!
- Some background in industry standard EDA tools
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, such as, Perl, Tcl, Make, Python, etc.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- If you have previous work experience in Physical Design
- Experience in methodology and/or flow development/automation.

The hourly rate for our interns is 19 USD - 93 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
