The Central Issue Facility (CIF) Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the overall management, evaluation, and reporting of all warehouse operations. He/she will track and coordinate the receipt, storage and shipment of all Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE) from the Fort Liberty CIF. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures compliance with requisite manpower, safety, fiscal and accountability guidance. Assists the CIF Supervisor in administration, training and counseling of employees within the CIF.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Responsible for the receipt, shipment, and storage of all OCIE
Ensures all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Material Handling Equipment MHE has Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) performed as required by required policies and procedures
Performs daily inspection of the warehouse grounds to ensure safety and proper warehouse housekeeping
Oversees the functional areas of the warehouse to include the receiving, shipping, and storage sections of the warehouse
Responsible for the issuing and receiving of materiel from the Chemical Defense Equipment (CDE) warehouse through the use of the automated Mobility Inventory Control Accountability System (MICAS) system to document transactions
Establishes procedures to file and retrieve issue/turn-in documents manually or use the automated filing system (if available) in accordance with AR 700-84, AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1, AR 735-5, Installation Support Modules (ISM) Operation Manual, and CIFs Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Coordinates the movement of serviceable and unserviceable excess for turn-in to DLA Disposition Services
Briefs the CIF Supervisor on all warehouse related issues and or issues that may impact customer support
Develops and publishes CIF’s SOP, Work Instructions (WIs), and Procedures.
Reviews work orders, consumption reports, or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments
Serve as the Hand Receipt Holder for all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) assigned to the Warehouse
Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Valid Driver’s License without restrictions.
Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Liberty Military installation.
Must be able to clear a full background check
Must be able to successful pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE:
10 years of Army logistic experience
5 years of supervisory experience
Comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in supply management focused around OCIE
Comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply and equipment management processes, related regulations, and accountability
Comprehensive knowledge of analytical techniques and causative research skills to identify areas of needed emphasis to recommend improvements
Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, written and oral communications skills
Operational skill and knowledge of the Logistics Information Systems (LIS)
Familiar with Installation Support Modules (ISM) – Central Issue Facility
Experienced with Mobility Inventory Control Accountability System (MICAS)
SKILLS:
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with subordinates, peers, and senior personnel.
Must have the ability to work independently and in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and SharePoint is required.
SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervising a workforce consisting of 30-40 personnel.
