Churro Cart Operator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Churro Cart Operator. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for baking, stuffing, and serving gourmet churros to our valued customers. This role requires a friendly demeanor, exceptional customer service skills, and a genuine love for sweet treats.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and manage the churro kiosk cart efficiently and effectively.

- Prepare bake fresh churros according to established recipes and standards.

- Stuff churros with various fillings, such as chocolate, dulce de leche, or cream, ensuring consistency and quality.

- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work area, adhering to food safety regulations.

- Manage inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.

- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, following proper cash handling procedures.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent customer service skills

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
