Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our chiropractic office. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical scheduling, patient service, and medical office administration.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar using ChiroTouch and ReviewWave
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Collect patient information and update medical records accurately
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits
- Assist the chiropractor during examinations and treatments as needed
- Provide education to patients on chiropractic care and treatment plans
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and office space

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical or chiropractic office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical scheduling software such as ChiroTouch and ReviewWave is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficient in basic office tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing paperwork

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training in healthcare administration is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
