Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Register patients by verifying their demographic information and insurance coverage - Call and verify patient insurance benefits - Explain benefits to patients so they know what to expect at their appointments
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department
- Collect co-pays, deductibles and process payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out process - Assist the Doctor of Chiropractic with patient intakes - Provide different therapies to patients (training provided)
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns or complaints
- Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications:
- High school diploma - Associate Degree or some college recommended in health care field
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Pay rate will be based on experience.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week
