Position Purpose: Monitors and maintains Inventory Control of merchandise or materials. This role will is 2nd shift (2:30pm - 10:00pm) and onsite 5-days a week at our High Point, NC plant.
Responsibilities- Interacts with warehouse and production management as well as lead personnel to accurately direct the movement of raw material to and from production floor and warehouse
- Manage and maintain production orders daily
- Train new/existing employees on SAP
- Uses SAP to maintain inventory records
- Audits raw and finished goods inventory
- Conducts WIP (Work-In-Process) audits
- Work closely with the leads and supervisors to make sure all inventory is properly tagged with appropriate label information and located in the correct warehouse position
- Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved.
- Look into/fix MUV variances
- Responsible for month-end and/or quarterly Inventory and monthly cycle counts
- Wraps and/or packs, labels and records raw materials for return to warehouse
- Follows 5s and Safety policies and procedures
- Other duties, as assigned
- A minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training in all areas of inventory management or equivalent combination of education and experience
- SAP experience a plus
- Excellent computer skills required
- Willingness and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
Education / Certifications:
- High School Diploma and/ or equivalent
