Chiropractic Assistant/ Reception Helper

We are looking for a highly organized, neatly-presented Chiropractic Assistant to be responsible for our office's back office with some front desk duties. The Chiropractic Assistant's responsibilities include assisting with clinical work/therapeutic modalites, helping with office cleaning, answering e-mails and phone calls, scheduling appointments, and welcoming patients.

To be successful as a Chiropractic Assistant, you must be able to work with sensitive patient data and maintain confidentiality. You should also be able to multitask without sacrificing accuracy in your work. Top candidates will be detail-oriented and service-driven.

Able to work days and evenings. Hours are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 830am to 730pm and Fridays from 830am to 630pm; all work days have a mid day 1 hour lunch break.

Proficient in English and Spanish.

Chiropractic Assistant Responsibilities:

• Preparing treatment rooms prior to appointments.
• Assisting in any and/or all treatment modalities.
• Helping with team cleaning/maintenance duties.
• Greeting and welcoming patients upon arrival.
• Ensuring that the waiting area and rooms remain in excellent condition at all times.
• Answering phone calls and responding to e-mails as needed.
• Scheduling appointments as needed.
• Collecting and recording patients' personal and medical information as needed.
• Verifying payment methods, including patients' health insurance coverage as needed.

Chiropractic Assistant Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Exceptions can be discussed and made during the interviewing process.
• Proficient in English and Spanish.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Well-groomed, professional appearance.
• Able to work days and evenings. Hours are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 830am to 730pm and Fridays from 830am to 630pm; all work days have a mid day 1 hour lunch break.
• Team player who is able to keep up in a fast paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
