Applicants should be comfortable with people and general public, talking on the phone and an in-depth knowledge of computers as well as internet use. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at one time. We love what we do and have fun doing it!
Schedule Requirements
MUST be available to work the hours of 8am-130pm AND 230pm-7pm. 4 days per week. Monday, Wednesday, Fridays are required. This position is starting at 35+/- hours/week.
Responsibilities
Included but not limited to
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks (Welcoming patients and assigning to doctor room, insuring proper charges are added and corrected, and payment is collected, patient account notes are accurate)
- Manage online and phone appointment requests
- Inform patients about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Verify patients insurance benefits using both online and phone verification systems
- Faxing, copying and printing confidential patient information
- Receiving and sending confidential records in regards to the patient to other facilities via USPS mail, & electronically
Skills
- Previous work experience in a Chiropractic office preferred, but not required
- Previous work experience in a front desk, or customer service position is strongly encouraged
- Understanding of Google Chrome, other internet and computer applications, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent time management in office, as well as keeping to your assigned scheduled work times
- Ability to remain calm and collective during busy hours/under pressure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
