Chiropractic Assistant

The Lehigh Valley Spinal Care Center is seeking a Chiropractic Assistant to assist in all functions of a Chiropractic Office from answering telephones, to greeting clients, to billing and verifying insurance benefits. A working knowledge of medical insurance and familiarity of basic medical terminology is strongly preferred for this position. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00am – 12:00pm and 2:00pm – 7:00pm.
Qualifications
Ideal Candidate will possess:
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Working knowledge of medical insurance (copays, deductibles, and coinsurance)
- Proficient with HIPAA compliance with medical information
- Experience as a Chiropractic Assistant, medical office receptionist/ managing front desk activities or the equivalent
- Background in customer service
Skills needed:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail with ability to learn new procedures quickly and efficiently
- Able to be self-motivated and stay on task with little supervision
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
Experience:
- Microsoft office/Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical Office Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Experience with Chirotouch software is a plus

- Scheduling appointments for new and returning clients
- Inputting patient demographics
