Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership of the design, development, and testing of software solutions, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality products on time.
- Provide Leadership in product design sprints and provide constructive feedback to help improve the overall quality of the product.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Attend and participate in team meetings, providing updates on the progress of assigned tasks and projects.
P&L Responsibility:
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
Business Development:
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
Strategic Collaboration:
- Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
Team Building:
- Demonstrate a self-starter mentality and the ability to identify and recruit effective staff to deliver against established goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Work with the leadership team to set clear priorities and goals for IT management and production, balancing the long-term and immediate needs.
- Develop and manage annual and quarterly budgets.
- Oversee data security, management, and governance.
- Manage R&D resource allocation, goal/KPI setting, and performance metrics.
- Define the company’s overall technology strategy to support business objectives.
- Make infrastructure decisions, ensuring technical excellence, versatility, safety and soundness, resiliency and scalability in the architecting and engineering of product solutions, as well as managing all technical delivery.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry or supply chain management is a plus, but not required.
- 10+ years of experience in leadership roles within SaaS.
Location and Travel:
- Farmington Hills, MI – This is an onsite role.
- Limited travel may be requested from time to time.
Industry Experience:
- Previous employment history with a serialization service providers or pharmaceutical serialization services, and or
- Previous employment history with pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, or national chains, and or
- Previous employment history with SaaS technology companies.
