Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Chief Information Officer (CIO) is accountable for the overall leadership and operations management of the business technology, cybersecurity, data & analytics and procurement & vendor management divisions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technology leadership and a proven track record of successfully driving operational efficiency, identifying and executing cost savings measures, driving business growth and implementing new solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Technology Leadership: Provide strategic leadership, vision and day-to-day direction for role accountabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Lead the Digital team, Product Development, Infrastructure and Cloud Technologies, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics (including AI) and Procurement & Vendor Management.

  • Technology Management: Oversee all product design and changes in system architecture. Ensure the consistent delivery of reliable and high-quality technological services and solutions.

  • Data & Analytics: Oversee the development of advanced analytics and data-driven intelligent insights across the enterprise. Ensure the delivery of market-leading analytic capabilities as required by internal business partners and external groups and stakeholders.

  • Cybersecurity and Data Privacy: Oversee the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive healthcare data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

  • Procurement and Vendor Management (Enterprise Business Partnerships & Negotiations): Evaluate and manage relationships with enterprise vendors and partners to ensure the successful integration of third-party solutions.

  • Drive financial management, remediation and cost mitigation efforts across the function while working in a matrixed environment.

  • Proactively initiate and drive change in processes, tools and capabilities that increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Budget Management: Oversee the technology budget, identifying cost savings opportunities.

  • Team Management: Build and lead a team of high-performing leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, efficiency, transparency and continuous learning.

  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and business development, to align technology initiatives with overall company objectives.

  • Drive constant innovation and continuous improvement while pushing the organization to deliver capabilities that enable operational efficiencies.

  • Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage technological risks to the company.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of Information Technology Services experience, 5+ years in a leadership role including proven experience as a CIO/CTO or in a senior technology executive leadership role

  • Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage up to the COO, articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical business partners and stakeholders, and capable of leading and motivating a diverse IT team.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Healthcare Expertise: Strong understanding of healthcare systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in a wide range of technologies, including but not limited to cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and mobile applications.

  • Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
