Job Description:
Grand Circle Corporation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team. Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of Grand Circle Corporation, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of business processes.
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a diverse team of professionals across various departments. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, encouraging innovation and excellence. Partner with CEO to share responsibility for Organizational and Leadership Development.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives, fostering growth and innovation.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Work closely with the CFO to optimize financial performance and ensure prudent use of resources.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and vendors to optimize the supply chain and enhance overall business performance.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold the highest standards in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication across departments to ensure a seamless flow of information and coordination of activities.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior operational role, preferably as a COO.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the travel and adventure industry, with a track record of success in a similar environment.
- Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex situations, and make sound decisions to drive business success.
- Financial Acumen: Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership qualities with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and lead high-performance teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Change Management: Proven experience in leading organizational change initiatives and adapting to evolving business environments.
- Results-Oriented: Track record of delivering measurable results and achieving organizational goals.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
