Basic Function:

The Chief Operating Officer will oversee Internal Operations functions at Corporate Environments and will report to the President/CEO. The COO is responsible for managing the hands-on operational aspects of the company. This role collaborates with the President/CEO and the leadership team to develop corporate and operational strategies and is charged with facilitating

these efforts across the company. Through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the objectives of Corporate Environments, the COO provides leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures to effectively grow the organization and to ensure operating efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Work closely with the President/CEO to lead the development and execution of Corporate

Environment’s operational strategy, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.

• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the organization.

• Oversee operations of the company, providing guidance and support to department heads as needed.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external; Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the Company.

• Demonstrate leadership and motivate a high-performance management team; Mentor direct reports to cultivate skills and to increase consciousness of the interrelationship between each department in the operational groups.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners, ensuring that Corporate Environments is seen as a leader in the furniture industry.

• Provide direction that mirrors the adopted PVTV- Purpose, Vision, Tenets & Values of the

Company.

• Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and all aspects of

Corporate Environment’s market.

• Gather and analyze customer trends to assist in developing corporate strategy.

• Represent Corporate Environments at various community activities; Meet and network regularly with community business leaders and client prospects.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements:

BS/BA Degree Required

Additional education Preferred

Senior Leadership Experience Preferred

10 yrs. Experience in the furniture industry Preferred

Foundation Skill Requirements:

Ability to work well with President and other Senior Management members.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team of employees.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make date-driven decisions that support our overall business objectives.

Proven track record of success in driving growth and profitability, as well as developing and implementing policies and procedures that drive operational excellence.

Must have the ability to work independently, but also be team oriented.

Must have excellent understanding of the Operational aspect of running a business.
