RESPONSIBILITIES
As the CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, you will:
- Plan, evaluate and implement the financial strategy.
- Further develop best practice of NetSuite annual and projected budget which includes forecasting templates and tracking.
- Implement and manage operations for accounting, reporting, banking, and FP&A functions.
- Leads the finance team in an ongoing cadence of reporting on key performance indicators.
- Manage special projects related to M&A, practice affiliations and minority acquisitions.
- Develop and implement financial and accounting controls and ensure compliance with prescribed internal and external standards.
- Assist in strategy for equity, ownership within core business units up through holding company structure (core compensation strategy).
- Manage the financial planning and forecasting process. Provide high-level analysis and recommendations for corrective action as necessary.
- Creates and reviews all period-end activities to ensure financial statements accurately reflect results of CGFS activities.
- Ensures accounting policies & procedures are followed; and monthly financials are closed timely.
ABOUT YOU
- 10+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably with a professional services organization
- CFO or similar executive management experience in business. Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in the financial services world
- B.S. Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; prefer a Master's degree/MBA in Accounting, Finance or Business, or a CPA, or equivalent experience
- Proven management experience with accounting, billing, payroll,
- Experienced in financial / management reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Attention to detail and accuracy with strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
