The Courtesy Shuttle System serves to transport visitors throughout the entrance area of the Denali National Park in a safe, on-schedule and courteous manner. In addition, transportation is provided between hotel properties and designated stops, including transfers to/from the Park railroad depot.
About Denali National Park: Doyon/Aramark Joint Venture is the Denali National Park Concessionaire. Open May to September, our guests come to take in the majesty of Mount Denali, the highest point in North America. Our operation manages the transportation, retail, guest service and food and beverage concessions with our client; Park Service. The park welcomes over half a million visitors per year. By road, the area is 5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks. Buses traverse the 90-mile road daily throughout the warm summer months, allowing people to hike, view wildlife, climb, and camp.
- Provide safe and comfortable bus transportation within a congested tourist environment. Includes transportation along a major state highway as well as slow speed pedestrian congested traffic environments.
- Provide professional level customer service to all customers.
- Record specific ridership information as required by dispatch operations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to specific uniform and grooming standards.
- Employee is responsible for general knowledge of corporate environmental policies and procedures and how they relate to their job functions.
- Employee is responsible for knowing the environmental aspects and associated impacts of their job position. Job specific Environmental Aspects and Impacts will be communicated by Dept. Managers during EMS training.
- Environmental objectives and targets will be communicated by dept. managers for each dept. during EMS training.

- Must be 21 years of age.
- A completed copy of the US DOT Driver Qualification File Packet, which includes the following:
- An original copy of driving record showing no moving violation within the past three years for new applicants and no more than one moving violation within the past three years for returning applicants.
- Current medical examiner's certificate as required by US DOT.
- Current certification in First Aid (standard, or higher) and CPR.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Effective Communication skills.
- Maturity, responsibility and an ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to lift 25 - 50 pounds.
- Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement and no Air Brake Restriction
- Previous experience in a customer service-related field a plus.
