We have an incredible career opportunity for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to oversee multiple business entities under our parent umbrella.
The CFO will play a critical role in helping the company scale by developing a world-class team that drives and operationalizes best-practice processes, systems, tools and reporting capabilities. As a member of the executive team, you will help lead a collaborative, innovative, fast-paced work environment, where hitting deadlines is a way of life and details matter.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of financial management to advance the organization's objectives and direct the accounting departments in support of those objectives.
- Assess financial performance regarding the long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.
- Provide insight and recommendations for short-term and long-term growth plans.
- Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with plan for growth and profitability.
- Collaborate and support multiple business units relating to financial matters that may improve their profitability and efficiency while developing and maintaining positive relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Provide direction, organization, and supervision to the accounting, budget preparation, and finance functions.
- Establish financial policies and systems to support corporate strategies and ensure continual compliance and adherence to regulatory guidance.
- Motivate and lead the finance/accounting teams in our high growth environment
- Build and maintain sophisticated cash flow and GAAP-compliant budget models
- Lead pricing and contracting to drive business value.
- Work closely with the CEO on board relations
- Responsible for M&A activities
- Demonstrate flexibility and an ability to handle multiple projects at one time while maintaining incredible attention to detail
- Maintain a positive, solutions-focused attitude
- Exercise good judgment and keep sensitive information confidential
- Deliver consistently excellent customer service to internal/external customers, colleagues and management
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; MBA preferred
- 10+ years collective experience a finance leader
- Previous experience leading funding and M&A preferred
- Previous CFO experience, with extensive understanding of business models, metrics, analytics, and accounting
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- Financial Systems: extensive experience with implementation, enhancement, and automation of financial systems, tools, and processes
- Excellent track record as a leader and coach
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, negotiation, decision-making & project management skills
- Experience and interest to work in an environment that has a high level of intensity and fast pace to support the needs of a rapidly growing business
