Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain highest level of confidentiality, customer service and professionalism to promote a positive image of the Company
Implement FUI’s financial strategy in alignment with our company values
Provide overall direction for effective recording, analyzing, and reporting of all financial results (i.e. budgeting, planning, analysis, consolidated financial reporting, taxes, cost accounting, systems)
Provide corporate financial leadership and credibility, internally and externally, based on superior business acumen and integrity
Use financial analysis to support company decisions and communicate effectively to the Board of Governors and management
Participate in the company's current and future expansion activities with a special focus on state, local and federal government finance opportunities such as enterprise zones, tax incentives and credits, and industrial revenue findings
Support company in identifying and resolving cost issues, optimizing efficiencies, and ensuring effective information systems
In conjunction with the President/CEO, develop and evaluate corporate financial strategy and objectives including budgets, forecasts, risk management, and compliance
Analyze the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses; track cash flows and maintain capital structure
Direct a comprehensive cash management program that ensures the company is maximizing the use of its funds, maintaining appropriate cash flow, and provides for future growth
Support business by tracking operational KPIs and metrics back to financial impact
Drive supply chain improvements and better vendor pricing
Provide decisive and team-oriented leadership to the Accounting Department to ensure continued growth and development
Guide the creation of training materials to FUI improve financial acumen, ensure data reliability, propose corrective action, and manage a profitable business
Manage the company’s banking and government relationships and optimize the results of the investment portfolio through financial modeling and scenario planning
Develop, understand, and negotiate contracts
Present at annual meetings, Board of Governors meetings, and/or other informational sessions

QualificationsQualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; master's preferred
Previous senior finance leadership - minimum 5 years
CMA, CPA or public accounting experience, preferred
Broad understanding of all fundamental financial/accounting disciplines (i.e. general accounting, audit, cost, planning and analysis, financial information systems, taxation, treasury, and credit/risk management
Good foresight and financial modeling skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop budgets and objectives then bring them to closure
Demonstrated capacity for effective decision making and facilitating within a team environment
Ability to work effectively with lenders; experience in working with state and local government entities is highly desirable
Strong commitment to methodical, organized and timely work ethic
Advanced written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism
Strong Interest in developing team members
Travel up to 10% annually (this position is onsite, not remote)
