Job Title: Automotive Chief Engineer/Director of Manufacturing

Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Strategic Planning:
- Provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of manufacturing strategies to achieve company goals.
- Collaborate with other executives to align manufacturing objectives with overall business objectives.
2. Product Development:
- Oversee the design and development of automotive products, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and performance targets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and production, to bring new products to market.
3. Manufacturing Operations:
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production planning, quality control, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing systems and processes to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality standards for manufacturing processes and products.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards.
5. Cost Management:
- Manage the manufacturing budget and work towards cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
- Identify and implement cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

6. Technology and Innovation:
- Stay abreast of technological advancements in automotive manufacturing.
- Integrate new technologies and innovative practices to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
7. Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the manufacturing department.
8. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and adjust manufacturing processes accordingly.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. An MBA may be a plus.
2. Experience:
- Significant experience in automotive manufacturing, with a proven track record of leadership and success.
- Experience in a senior management or executive role within a manufacturing organization.
3. Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, technologies, and materials.
- Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering tools.
4. Leadership Skills:
- Strong leadership and management abilities, with a focus on team building and employee development.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
5. Communication:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
