Job Description: Renaissance Orlando Airport Hotel is seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to oversee all aspects of our hotel's engineering operations. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel, managing the engineering team, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the engineering department, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing efficiency and reliability of hotel systems and equipment.
• Manage capital improvement projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to support their operational needs and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory controls for supplies, equipment, and spare parts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel engineering or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Salary:

• Competitive salary: $90,000 per year plus bonus and annual raises
