Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time contract position in Chicago Heights, IL. As a BCBA in this school-based role, you will play a crucial part in providing support to special education students and collaborating with families to create a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Adherence to local and state regulations for behavior analysis services.
• Previous experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Duties:

1. Behavioral Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop effective intervention plans.
2. Individualized Plans: Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessments and collaborate with other professionals involved in the student's education.
3. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistency and coordination in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
5. Training and Support: Provide training and support to school staff, parents, and caregivers on implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies.
6. Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on the progress of students, adjusting interventions as needed to promote positive outcomes.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports in compliance with regulations and standards.
