Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time contract position in Chicago Heights, IL. As a BCBA in this school-based role, you will play a crucial part in providing support to special education students and collaborating with families to create a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Adherence to local and state regulations for behavior analysis services.
- Previous experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Job Duties:
- Behavioral Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop effective intervention plans.
- Individualized Plans: Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessments and collaborate with other professionals involved in the student's education.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistency and coordination in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to school staff, parents, and caregivers on implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on the progress of students, adjusting interventions as needed to promote positive outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports in compliance with regulations and standards.
