Charge Nurse (RN or LPN)
Purpose of your position:
The primary purpose of your position is to provide direct nursing care and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility; and as may be directed by administrative nursing and the Administrator to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Assume the authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing nursing personnel.
Hours of Work:
The Nursing Department is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Nursing Department shifts are typically: 6:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M., 2:00 P.M. – 11:00 P.M., and 10:00 P.M. – 8:00 A.M. You will be hired for one of these shifts, with the understanding that your work shift (schedule) may be adjusted to meet our residents’ and Milner Community Health Care’s needs.
