Title: Change Manager
Duration: Long Term Contract/ Full time permanent
Location: Cary, NC
Responsibilities and Duties: Primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies, process, and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Change Manager will ensure for the elements of configuration management outlined in the SOW establishing a sound basis for Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management which verifies configuration records against the ARNG G-6 DODIN-A-NG infrastructure, identifying and correcting any exceptions. He/she will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. Formulate and utilize standardized methods and procedures to process Requests for Change (RFCs) efficiently, effectively and in a timely manner. Reduce the number of backed-out, failed and incomplete changes; and minimize the impact of change related incidents and problems (Configuration Management). Perform change management in accordance with established documented Change Management processes and of procedures (examples: Change Advisory Board, Operational Core Procedures MASTARS, SCM, SDI, etc.). Provide change management reports as required. Participate in as well as facilitate meetings supporting projects/customer and change control boards. Qualifications/Required Skills: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience supporting change management (e.g., change control board). Fluent with change management tools and methodologies. Excellent customer service and organization skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be highly organized and detail oriented. Must be able to take initiative and work independently or as a member of a team. Must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: multi-tasking, critical thinking; and the ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment. Proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools. Must have an active Secret Clearance.
