Certified Medical Assistant

As a Medical Assistant, you will be an integral part of the care of our patients. In addition, you will join a team that is constantly learning and growing in our professional careers. You will serve as a Medical Assistant coordinating patient flow, taking vitals, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, assisting with IV Nutrition therapy and allergy testing, and patient education. You will also schedule appointments, answer the telephone, collect insurance information, ensure necessary forms are completed, perform a multitude of administrative tasks, and contribute to office and patient workflow organization. In addition, you will order and stock supplies, and assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Medical Assistant work: both front and back office
• Excited about working in an Integrative, holistic wellness center
• Positive attitude, willing to go above and beyond to assist our team and patients
• Extremely organized and detail oriented;
• A “people person” and excellent communicator with all types of people; doesn’t take things personally
• Initiative taker to improve our patient experience and be very flexible with change
• Critical thinker, and a solver of problems/challenges
• Committed to your own healing and personal growth toward wellness
• Allergy Testing experience would be helpful
