Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
SUMMARY
This position will write and review safety plans, conduct safety training, enforce safety programs, perform safety audits and other duties as assigned. Manages, monitors, and advises Project Manager on matters related to the Health and Safety of personnel and issues affecting/impacting the Environment.
$65.00-$90.00/hr

- Review safety procedures and processes with team members (Activity Hazard Analysis)
- Attend meetings as required
- Writie/review safety documents for Government approval
- Ensure regulatory compliance (i.e. OSHA, EM385 1-1, NFPA, ATSSA, ANSI) of safety documentation
- Provide safety training and certification for employees

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
- Certified Industrial Hydienist (CIH) with at least 40 years experience
- Masters Degree in Health and Safety
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Registered Environmental Health Specialist in California
- 40-hour HAZWOPER
- 8-hour HAZWOPER Supervisor/Manager Certified
- OSHA 10- and 30-hour Authorized Instructor
- USACE 40-hour EM 385-1-1 Level 6 Certification

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Job is fully remote with exposure to computer screens and requires use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
