Cash Operations Specialist

That's why we're looking for a dynamic Cash Operations Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance team processes and posts cash receipts for the firm.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for...

• Receiving and analyzing all client and non-client payments to the firm daily to determine correct application of funds
• Identifying overpayments on client bills and process in accordance with billing attorney/ Business Intake Committee instructions. Maintaining records by scanning client payments for firm archive
• Researching unidentified cash receipts.
• Providing daily ledger balance reports to leadership team.

• Interacting with bank contacts and recording daily account transfers.
• Preparing and distributing unapplied cash communications.

The successful candidate will demonstrate...

• A minimum of two years related experience is required, including understanding of accounting principles relating to cash receipts, unapplied cash, and an understanding of general ledger accounts
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and Word
• Ability to use enterprise accounting system
• Intermediate mathematical, reconciliation and data analysis skills
