POSITION TITLE: Case Management Assistant

TYPE: Part Time/ 25 hours a week

REPORTS TO: Program Manager

SALARY: $19 - $21 per hour

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Case Management Assistant will provide essential front line support to the Social Services team. Leveraging their exemplary customer service skills, the Case Management Assistant will respond to participant inquiries and provide resource referrals in a supportive and welcoming manner over the phone and in person. Their strong sense of urgency will be instrumental as they help the team meet their strategic goals by initiating various tasks to maintain efficient operation of services, keeping files organized, completing and responding to requests in a timely manner, and by performing accurate data entry.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

§ Provide exemplary customer service to participants and teammates.

§ Promptly respond to participant inquiries and complete work requests.

§ Update spreadsheets as needed and complete timely and accurate data entry.

§ Process mailings and assist with file organization.

§ Assist with copying and distributing program information.

§ Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required

§ High School degree or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience.

§ Intermediate skills in MS Office products to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.

§ Data entry experience and experience using typical office equipment, i.e. postage machines, copier, printer.

§ Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive and/or confidential matters.

§ Detail-oriented, results-oriented, self-starter, flexible, with excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

§ Demonstrated ability to take a customer-centered approach when interacting with participants, peers, volunteers, and other staff.

§ Strong organization and communication skills both written and verbal.

§ Demonstrated ability to make decisions and act within the scope of authority.
