You'll have...
- Associates degree in Industrial Design or a closely related field of study. Experience delivering a finished 3d digital design in Alias or any 3d poly modeling technique to specification using all tools necessary.
Even better, you may have...
- A portfolio demonstrating experience in translating a 2D sketch into a 3D model or developing high fidelity digital automobile models (interior and exterior)
- Computer skills and functions including Alias, Blender, Gravity Sketch, Rhino, 3D Ploy modeling tools, Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
- Experienced in digital setups, values, and procedures to deliver surface data with speed and accuracy.
- Ability and understanding to read prints, engineering sections, hip zones, hard points, draft angles, part breakups, die lock conditions, verification points, etc. High level of aptitude / competency understanding surface development and procedures in all digital modeling techniques.

You will be driving the future of automotive design by using an arsenal of CAD programs to find creative solutions to three-dimensional problems. Blending robust engineering with progressive designs to push the boundaries on what a car can be in the real world.
What you'll do...
- Translate 2D sketches to 3D models
- Develop high fidelity digital models (interior / exterior) that display design intent in an extremely fast paced environment.
- Assist in digital model builds and determines best tools and techniques to deliver the most accurate execution within the studio timing and constraints.
- Collect, coordinate, collaborate, translate technical data to multiple departments and personnel.
- Interface with all levels of the design team, building relationships to achieve one goal.
