Model-Based Systems Engineer

We’re searching for a highly qualified model-based system engineer to assist in maintaining our leadership position and leading the company’s efforts to institutionalize the use of MBSE. The ideal candidate will have extensive model-based engineering experience using the Systems Modeling Language.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with traditional software, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams to institutionalize the use of model-based Systems Engineering across all projects.
• Collaborate on the development of MBSE Digital Twins for on-board and off-board training capabilities and devices for existing and under development combat vehicles.

Required skills and qualifications

• Three or more years of experience with MBSE
• Deep-seated attention to design details
• Proven success working on a project team
• Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of project management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Experience with Cameo System Modeler or MagicDraw
• Experience with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) to system design
• Experience working on DoD projects
