Responsibilities
Assist seniors with all areas of daily living,including (but not limited to):
- General Safety and Comfort
- Assist with Bathing
- Assist with Mobility
- Medication reminders
- Meal Prep
Perform light housekeeping, including (but notlimited to):
- Organization
- Laundry
- Changing Linens/Making Beds
- Dishwashing
Provide companionship
- Exercise
- Stimulating Conversation
- Supporting Social activities
- Running Errands
- Transportation to Doctor Appointments
Requirements
Physicalrequirements:
- Must have VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
- Lifting/carrying occasional up to 30 lbs., climbing, bending/kneeling, sitting, walking/standing, and repetitive motion.
- Experience preferred, but will train the right candidate.
- Capable of working independently and to carry out tasks with minimum supervision
- Clean arrest record to include no felonies of any nature
- Able to successfully pass a drug test
- Must have a clear status to the elderly abuse and sexual predator registry
- Ability to read and write effectively and communicate with other caregivers
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a certificate to work in the United States
- Must have successful work record
- Must be able to effectively communicate with the patient and staff
- Ability to stay awake and alert at all times
- Spirit of service with the elder members of our community
