JOB SUMMARY
FMFL Facilities, LLC & Redbud Roots, Inc. is looking for a Cultivation Technician to join their growing team. The Cultivation Technician will be responsible for the care of marijuana plants during the immature, vegetative, and flowering stages. Cultivation Technicians execute operations pertaining to plant care such as cloning, pruning, transplanting, moving, feeding, deleafing, harvesting, and trimming. They implement cultivation practices as indicated by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and often operate in specific areas to focus their role and responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain the health of immature, vegetative and flowering plants through observation and adherence to established SOP's and guidance from team leads
• Routine plant maintenance including transplanting, tagging, moving, pruning, trellising, canopy training, deleafing, harvesting, deep cleaning, and trimming
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness regarding plant health and traceability to uphold the company's standard for quality
• Ensure the grow facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination through proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and biological controls, and IPM protocols
• Observe, document, and immediately address issues with plants, equipment, or environments
• Ensure accuracy of plant inventory, including strain names, plant tag numbers, and counts of plants, and plant waste material logs
• Regularly organize and sanitize tools, equipment, and production areas used in the grow facility to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment
• Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems
• Assist in inspections, whether initiated internally or through a governing entity, using inventory and compliance audits
• Abide by high personal hygiene standards
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3 + years of general labor experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check required
• Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
• Willingness to comply with state regulations and guidelines

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout
• Prolonged exposure to heat, humidity, and high intensity lights
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl while working with ladders and heights
